Horror Movie Recommendations?
I’ve never really been a devotee of horror movies, but lately have been hungry for any good ones I can find. As I know some of you do have a passion for the genre, I’d like to solicit any recommendations you may have.
I’m not a big fan of gore or, more specifically, the “torture porn” subgenre, but if it’s a well made or important film I can probably stomach it (I quite liked Audition, for example). Keep in mind too, that while I do have a film degree and still consider myself a filmmaker, odds are you will be shocked by what I haven’t seen (I don’t know anyone who hasn’t said to me at some point, “YOU haven’t seen THAT?!”), so don’t assume I’ve seen anything.
